Logo maker

The type is converted to outlines, so the SVG renders identically on a machine that has never seen the font — a real logo file, not a picture of one.

Or drag the icon and the name straight on the preview. Every value is a fraction of the type size, so the logo keeps its proportions at any export size — and the canvas grows to fit, so nothing can ever be cropped.

About the logo maker

Build a simple wordmark or icon-and-name logo and download it as a vector SVG with the text converted to outlines, so it looks identical on any machine whether or not the font is installed. Choose a layout, weight, letter spacing, icon, colours and a transparent or solid background, then export SVG or PNG. Building it yourself is free; an optional AI mode generates logos for credits.

How to use it

  1. Type your name and pick a layout: icon left, icon above, icon only or text only.
  2. Set the weight and letter spacing, then search for and choose an icon.
  3. Adjust spacing and position with the sliders, or drag the icon and name on the preview.
  4. Pick text, icon and background colours.
  5. Download the SVG, a 512px or 1024px PNG, or copy the SVG code.

Questions

What file format should a logo be?
Keep the master as SVG, a vector format that scales to any size without blurring, and export PNGs from it for places that need a raster image.
What does outlined text mean in an SVG logo?
The letters are converted into vector shapes instead of referencing a font. The logo then renders the same everywhere, and the text can no longer be edited as type.
Can I get a transparent background?
Yes. Leave the background set to Transparent and both the SVG and PNG downloads will have no background fill.
Can I make a favicon from my logo?
Yes. Download the icon-only version and upload it to the favicon generator to get the full set of sizes.
