About the watermark

Add a text watermark, such as your name, site or a copyright line, to an image. Choose one of seven positions or a tiled pattern that repeats across the whole picture, and set the opacity. The text is drawn in white. The image is uploaded to our server, watermarked, and returned in its original format.

How to use it

  2. Type your watermark text.
  3. Pick a position (corners, edges, center, or Tiled) and set the opacity slider.
  4. Click Add Watermark, then Download the result.

Questions

How do I add a copyright watermark to a photo?
Type something like "© 2026 Your Name" as the watermark text, choose a corner position and an opacity around 40–60%, then download. The text becomes part of the image pixels.
Which watermark position is hardest to remove?
A tiled watermark covers the whole image, so it cannot simply be cropped off the way a corner mark can. It is also more distracting, so it suits proofs and previews more than finished work.
Will a white watermark show up on a light photo?
Not well. The text is white, so it is easiest to read over darker or busier areas; raise the opacity or pick a position over a darker part of the image.
